For some of our clients, the need for care does not end at the end of day. Clients that are unstable on their feet are at a higher risk of falling during the night when they get up to go to the bathroom. Companion Care can be there for the client to ensure their safety.
If a client only requires assistance getting up 1 to 3 times a night while allowing the caregiver to get at least 5 hours of sleep, Companion Care offers this service at our reduced overnight rate. Our reduced overnight rate for a 8 hour shift is $ 90 per night. For a 10 hour shift the cost is $129 per night. Typically our caregivers perform other tasks during our 10 hour overnight shifts such as assist with undressing and preparing for bed, helping the client up in the morning, bathing if necessary and dressing in preparation for the start of the day.
In some cases our clients may need 24 hour care. Someone to be there overnight, and available during the day to perform household tasks the client needs done. Our companions are also available to assist with bathing and dressing, toileting if needed in addition to the normal household tasks. Because the caregiver is essentially living with the client, their meals are provided for and they have there own living space. They must also have at least 8 hours of down time. Time when the client does not need their help. Clients that require round the clock hands on care would not qualify for this type services.
Our current Live In rate starts at $235 per day. Live In caregivers are limited so please contact the office for availability.
