The History of Companion Care
Companion Care, Inc.
Ruth Cyrus founded Companion Care, Inc. in 1984 in Northwest Indiana. At that time while working as a hospital volunteer, Ruth recognized many patients needed care that did not end when they left the hospital. She found patients needed a hand with doing tasks around the home they could no longer perform. And sometimes they just needed someone around as a companion.

As Ruth's daughter, I have used the foundation my mother created to bring Companion Care services to Washington including King and Snohomish Counties. As a small business owner I believe in the power of teamwork, bringing together office staff and caregivers to create a positive and supportive work environment. With this type of environment we can work together to support our clients providing them with the best possible care.
Companion Care of Washington is licensed by the state as an in-home service care provider allowing us to provide non-medical services to the elderly in their home or other residences.
